tricky punctuation

I am confused. Did the designer use the 's as in "Selected Designer is are having a sale" or did they mean that the word "are" belongs to designers? Either way - WRONG.

    Designer = 1 person who designs
    Designer's = more than one person that designs

    If you want to call some one a twit, try looking in the mirror.
